Four strand ascot style collar of freshwater pearls discs, in baroque formations each containing Mother-of-Pearl inside; tourmaline quartz rondelles, smooth and faceted orange tigers' eye rounds, goldstone cubes and tiny rounds of serpentine made (near top)- all from China. The pearl is of Asian water. Featuring a serpentine jade openwork rectangular pendant-from China; to which is fastened a Greek Orthodox image of Mother and child ikon on wood oklad, a process from Byzantine Art-the image is printed on canvas paper, over painted with oil paint, mounted on wood then clad in silver pedigree, braiding, fretwork, carvings & granulation - from Greece. Brass discs with spiral detail - from Thailand; faceted rondelles and baguettes (on fringe), and end beads of sterling silver faceted bacons- all hilltribe work of Northern Thailand.
